1. Legal and Informative Nature of the Service
ECLIPSE SEGURO is an independent science outreach initiative, managed by an informal collective without legal personality (natural persons). The sole purpose of the Portal is to compile public information and conduct orientative documentary reviews of solar protection glasses intended for eclipse observation that declare conformity with the European harmonized standard EN ISO 12312-2:2015.
You explicitly acknowledge that ECLIPSE SEGURO does not conduct direct optical technical assays or physical laboratory tests on commercial products, does not exercise the functions of a Notified Body, nor does it hold regulatory or administrative powers over the European Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) market.
2. General Conditions of Use
The user agrees to use the Portal and the displayed data in good faith. The following is strictly prohibited:
- Automated mass extraction of the database ("scraping" or mass data collection) for commercial purposes or for the profit of private agencies.
- Illicit use of logos, trade names, or verified brands to mislead the end consumer by simulating commercial endorsements or legal homologations.
- Insertion of fake, abusive, or fraudulent reviews in the community modules by manufacturers or distribution agents.
3. Intellectual Property and Links
The entire visual structure, databases, and proprietary texts of the Portal are protected by the international intellectual property framework and the laws of Spain. The trademarks, patent references, ASIN codes, and model names appearing in the registry are the property of their respective owners, being cited solely for informational purposes, identification, and end-consumer protection (Fair Use).
